| We have two crews on station and ready to respond at a moment’s notice.
🚨 Please call 911 immediately in the event of an emergency.
Due to hazardous conditions, we strongly urge residents to remain off the roads unless travel is absolutely necessary. Snow- and ice-covered roadways are creating dangerous conditions that increase the risk of accidents and may impact emergency response times.
WINTER WEATHER SAFETY REMINDER
With severe winter weather impacting our area, please take the following precautions to help keep yourself, your family, and first responders safe:
• Allow extra time for travel and slow down on snow- and ice-covered roads • Clear snow and ice from driveways, sidewalks, and around fire hydrants if it can be done safely • Keep space heaters at least 3 feet away from anything combustible and never leave them unattended • Ensure smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are working properly • Avoid overloading electrical outlets and only use extension cords rated for winter use • If using alternative heat sources, ensure proper ventilation
Please remember that severe winter conditions can impact response times. Your preparedness, patience, and cooperation help keep both residents and emergency personnel safe.
Rest assured, your volunteers at the Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company remain ready to respond—no matter the conditions.
As always, in an emergency, dial 911.
Stay warm, stay safe, and look out for one another. |
