Yesterday was about more than just fire and smoke — it was about training, teamwork, community, and preparing firefighters for the moments when it matters most.

The Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make yesterday’s live-fire training burn a success!

Our Instructors — Thank you to the instructors who gave their time, experience, and knowledge to our students. Some traveled from right here locally, while others made the trip from as far away as Erie, Meadville, and Oil City. Your dedication to training firefighters across Pennsylvania is greatly appreciated.

Butler County Community College — Thank you to BC3 for providing the training opportunity and resources that allow firefighters to receive valuable, hands-on education right here in our community.

Pennsylvania Office of the State Fire Commissioner — Thank you for your continued commitment to firefighter education, training, and the programs that help Pennsylvania's fire service develop and maintain critical skills.

Participating Fire Departments — Thank you to our local and neighboring fire departments who sent members and appartus to participate, assist, and train alongside one another. Training together strengthens the relationships and teamwork we depend on during real emergencies.

Our Residents & Neighbors — Thank you for your patience and cooperation throughout the training. We know a live burn brings additional apparatus, activity, traffic, and plenty of smoke to the area, and we greatly appreciate everyone's understanding.

Connoquenessing Township — A special thank you to the Township for its cooperation and continued support of our department and our training efforts.
Training like this gives firefighters invaluable hands-on experience in a controlled environment before they're called upon to perform these skills during a real emergency.

It takes instructors, firefighters, training organizations, businesses, local government, and an entire community to make a day like yesterday possible.
