Tomorrow, students across the Butler Area School District head back to the classroom! 📚✏️

The members of the Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company would like to wish all students, teachers, administrators, staff, and families a safe, successful, and exciting school year! 🚒❤️

As everyone gets back into the school-year routine, please keep a few important safety reminders in mind:

🚌 Watch for School Buses Slow down and be prepared to stop when you see a school bus. Never pass a school bus with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended.

🚸 Watch for Students Children may be walking, biking, or waiting near the roadway. Stay alert, especially around bus stops, intersections, neighborhoods, and school zones.

🚗 Slow Down Give yourself extra time tomorrow morning. Expect increased traffic and congestion, and obey all posted school-zone speed limits.

📵 Put the Phone Down Keep your attention on the road. A text, notification, or phone call can wait.

👀 Parents & Students Look both ways before crossing, use sidewalks and designated crosswalks whenever possible, and make sure younger children know their bus stop and emergency contact information.

🚒 Remember: Tomorrow morning will look a little different on our roads. Be patient, stay alert, and help make sure everyone gets to school—and back home—safely.
