As we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of America and our nation's Independence Day, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and spirit that have defined our country since 1776. We hope everyone enjoys a safe and memorable holiday with family, friends, and neighbors.

Whether you're firing up the grill, watching fireworks, or hosting a backyard gathering, please keep safety at the forefront.

🔥 Grilling Safety

• Keep grills at least 10 feet away from homes, decks, and anything that can burn.
• Never leave a hot grill unattended.
• Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the cooking area.
• Clean grease and fat buildup to help prevent flare-ups.
• Always have a fire extinguisher or garden hose nearby.

🎆 Fireworks Safety

• Leave professional fireworks to the professionals whenever possible.
• Never allow young children to handle fireworks.
• Keep a bucket of water or garden hose nearby.
• Never relight fireworks that fail to ignite.
• Stay away from dry grass, brush, and other combustible materials.
• Never point or throw fireworks at another person.
• Dispose of used fireworks by soaking them in water before placing them in the trash.
